We have been so busy here the last few months that I have not had time to do much updating to my website. My Facebook page has proven to be faster and easier to keep up to date so most of my current happenings are getting posted there regularly. Feel free to send a friend request to catch all of the latest as it is happening…http://www.facebook.com/reptilelab

Last October 2012 we had a fantastic trip to Thailand and did a bunch of filming in the jungle under contract for a production company. We hope to be able to post some edited segments here pretty soon once the production people are finished and ready to start releasing the material. There were some really solid encounters that I cannot wait to share.

This year is off to a very busy start with a number of import shipments that will start arriving next week. Most of it is pre-sold but there will be a limited amount of surplus snakes, lizards and invertebrates. Breeding has already commenced here and there are some clutches already soon to be laid.

In addition to writing a couple of magazine articles, I was also recently featured in a five page Breeder Profile in the European magazine, Practical Reptile Keeping. This can be found across Europe in the March 2013 issue. We plan on attending all of the local Southern California Reptile Expos as usual with the next being in July in San Diego, California.

Our travel plans this year are shaping up to be a herping trip to Costa Rica in June and then a long trip to South East Asia in December. This one should have us in Thailand, Malaysia for some animal related work and then to Indonesia for more animal oriented business. Looking forward to seeing what the “Year of the Snake” brings.
